오늘은 므리바 물, 불순종한 모세를 배웠어요. 하나님은 모세에게 반석에게 말하라고 하셨지만, 모세는 백성에게 화가나서 지팡이로 반석을 두 번 쳤습니다. 반석에서 물은 나왔지만 하나님은 모세에게 진노하셨고, 모세는 약속의 땅에 들어가지 못하게 되었습니다.​ 

​아이들은 종이로 모세 지팡이를 멋지게 만들었어요. 스티커와 리본으로 예쁘게 꾸미고, ​지팡이에 trust God 을 적으면서 하나님의 말씀을 잘 지키기로 다짐을 해보았습니다. 화나는 것은 죄가 아니지만, 그 감정을 느꼈을 때 어떻게 행동하는지에 따라 결과가 달라진다는 것도 배웠어요. ​

BIBLE STORY SUMMARY: • The people were thirsty in the wilderness again, and again they accused God of leaving them to die. • They complained to Moses, who became angry with them. • God told Moses to speak to a rock, but Moses disobeyed, hitting the rock twice with his staff instead. • Water came out, but God was angry with Moses. • God decided Moses would not enter into the promised land.

CHRIST CONNECTION: Moses disobeyed God and did not enter the promised land. We all have disobeyed God by sinning. But God gave us His Son, Jesus. Jesus always obeyed God. When we trust in Him, Jesus brings us into God’s kingdom forever
